Western media were busy quoting to unnamed Egyptian officials who supposedly said the peace treaty of 1979 between Egypt and Israel was at risk.

If the citizens of Gaza Strip were allowed to temporarily flee to Egypt, Israel could finish its campaign against Hamas.
