There are lies, damned lies, and statistics! Alarmism & hysteria!

Does this chart not look eerily similar of the infamous, phony hockey stick chart by Michael Mann? As if history of propaganda and demagoguery repeats itself! 😊

Just two examples of what this dramatic chart below omits:

1. World population increased by several billion over this time period. Which implies more exposure of humans to and more impact of natural disasters and more
2. Only with recent technologies like satellites and computers are we more capable to measure the damages and costs of natural disasters

P.S. I presume the chart below refers to worldwide disasters
