France drops renewables targets, prioritises nuclear in new energy bill

Bravo! Vive la nucléaire France!

When common sense prevails! The aging nuclear power plants in France need to be maintained etc.

It is one of the greatest scandals and scams of our time that so called phony renewable, clean energy is extremely prioritized over much more reliable and effective really carbon-free nuclear power!

"... The country became a leader in nuclear power generation after the 1973 oil crisis, building over 50 such power plants that produced around two-thirds of the country’s electricity. ...
The proposed text  ... targets the construction of at least six but as many as 14 new reactors to pull off the transition to clean energy and meet climate change goals. ..."

France drops renewables targets, prioritises nuclear in new energy bill Critics are deriding as a step backward a new French energy bill that favours the further development of nuclear power and avoids setting targets for solar and wind power and other renewables.
