Boston pot shop owner played part in Boston City Council vote for president

Yesterday, I blogged here about this new council president just being one of those Firsts in defiance of meritocracy. Instead of the best person for the job it was someone who is the first female Haitian-American.

I usually don't to take pot shots, but this article was too tempting! 😊

Today, we learn it was supposedly a pot shop owner who made her election possible!

Boston pot shop owner played part in City Council vote for president: Ruthzee Louijeune cruised to a 13-0 sweep to become the next president of the Boston City Council, but the vote may have been manipulated by former Councilor Tito Jackson, who reportedly asked another candidate to step aside to make it unanimous.
