Third Human Genome Editing Summit started today

The potential is enormous, so are the risks! Sapere aude! Carpe diem!

Given the obsession of many of today's scientists with certain ideologies (e.g. faux racism, equity, diversity) it is questionable if major progess is even possible at this time!

Humanity has reached the point where we can far outdo natural evolution! Improving health, immunity, memory, brain function etc. are all within reach in the coming decades! What took millions of years of rather random selection and refinement can be done much quicker!

What are the preconditions? To fully utilize the potential to the benefit of humanity we can e.g. no longer have dictators running powerful and populous countries like Russia and China. Nor can we tolerate any longer dictatorships like North Korea or Iran!

If the global SARS-CoV-2/Covid-19 pandemic indeed originated through a lab leak in the Wuhan Institute of Virology (which e.g. conducted so called gain of function research funded by the U.S. in circumvention of stricter U.S. regulation), then this is a very serious warning to all humans! Dictatorships like China can not be trusted!
