European Union: New liability rules on products and AI to protect consumers. Really!

Had such government rules been in place when the Wright Brothers or Carl Benz or Henry Ford or Nicolaus Otto and others invented their machines, we would still be riding in horse carriages!

These new rules will have chilling effects on the new AI technology! Probably, Europe will fall further behind as far as this new technology is concerned!

The precautionary principle (I blogged here about it) and the strong tendency towards a more powerful central government with uniform rules in the EU are awful developments in the EU. What happened to federalism and confederacy?

One can only hope that the new Prime Minister of Italy Georgia Meloni will help to reverse these awful developments! Otherwise, Brexit may not remain the only exit!

What is a "circular economy business model"? What happened to free markets and enterprises?

The language chosen by the EU Commission appears to be copied from the World Economic Forum! This is the language of lunatics!
