Mistress Kamala Harris

Posted: 2/7/2019 Revised/updated: 1/30/2020, 2/9/2019, 10/26/2020

Why Did Mistress Kamala Wanted to Become the Vice Presidential Candidate (10/26/2020)

Pure political calculation! As of 10/26/2020, there can be no doubt that mistress Kamala must have noticed Joseph Biden's increasing senility and mental decline before she decided to became his running mate!

If Biden looses at least she would get all the publicity and name recognition of a presidential candidate. If he wins, he would step down for health reasons and she becomes the next president. You wonder whether the two of them have an agreement about that. Maybe one day we will find out.

Update Of 1/30/2020

It is much worse than previously known thanks to Peter Schweizer’s investigations. So in her seven years as district attorney she did not prosecute a single case of priest abuse?

Just watch: Peter Schweizer: Kamala Harris Gained 'Job Promotions,' BMW 7 Series During Affair with Willie Brown

Original Post

Motto: Now that is Me Too!

Kamala Harris had sex as a mistress with an older, married, powerful democrat politician (Willie Brown, former Mayor of San Francisco, and State Assembly Speaker) around 1994 to expedite her career. The two-year relationship with Willie Brown worked out well for her.

The Los Angeles Times had this to say in 1994: “Brown, exercising his power even as his speakership seems near an end, named attorney Kamala Harris to the California Medical Assistance Commission, a job that pays $72,000 a year. Harris, a former deputy district attorney in Alameda County, was described by several people at the Capitol as Brown's girlfriend. In March, San Francisco Chronicle columnist Herb Caen called her "the Speaker's new steady." Harris declined to be interviewed Monday and Brown's spokeswoman did not return phone calls.” (Source 2; emphasis added)

Had Willie Brown made a mistake with Kamala Harris, he might have ended up with a sexual harassment or sexual assault claim against him.

I personally have the impression that Ms. Harris may have a serious psychological issue (possibly depression, borderline personality disorder), treatment is advised. I am worried about her mental health.

I have not yet seen any denial by Ms. Harris! She could have used President Clinton’s template/predent “I did not have sexual relations with that woman[man], Miss Lewinsky [Willie Brown].”. Please correct me if I am wrong about this. Perhaps, she is saving the denial for a more opportune moment.

Smithsonian Institution Publishes Fantastic Accusations

Posted: 2/7/2019

Is this just a case of baseless journalistic sensationalism or is this an article (dated 9/18/2018) fit to further stoke racial tensions in the U.S.? I only became aware of this old article, because it was recently posted by Smithsonian Magazine on my Facebook page.

Already the introductory paragraph contains the fantastic accusation that 53,000 black Americans were killed. No matter what an amazing Civil War hero or accomplished ante bellum politician Robert Smalls was, such an accusation should be treated very carefully and ought to be thoroughly vetted by any author.

The article does not contain any facts or evidence to corroborate such a fantastic claim. The article does not even proper cite exactly where and when Smalls gave the speech nor is there any reference to a transcript of that speech. Who actually is the author Douglas Egerton? His bio at the end of the article is extremely short: “Douglas Egerton is a professor of history and the author of five books, including The Wars of Reconstruction”. Does not even say professor at what institution. Anyway, the reader is left to presume, based on this article, that this fantastic number of killed black Americans happened roughly between 1865 and 1895.

Here is probably the most salient quote from this article regarding this fantastic claim:
“To evaluate his number, I combed through sources that would have been available to him. I quickly learned one thing: Those sources lack basic information, such as victims’ last names, making it unlikely that anyone will be able to establish a precise number of people targeted for assassination by Southern whites. Gradually, though, I came to another conclusion: Those sources clearly demonstrate that white Democrats, an electoral minority in every Southern state after the war, engaged in racial terrorism to restore the prewar social order. Despite the imprecision in the records, I found Smalls’ figure to be entirely plausible. … Which brings us back to Robert Smalls’ assertion of 53,000 African-Americans murdered. Unhappily, little survives of his personal papers, so they don’t provide much help in determining how he arrived at that number. But other sources do.” (emphasis added)

All we learn from this very tendentious article is that there were several incidents where individual black Americans were murdered, but it does not add up to 53,000. This implausible, wild conjecture is coming from a professor of history! This is truly scandalous!

Given the fact that the total number of verified lynchings of black Americans comes to less than 4,000 in all southern states between 1865 and 1950 (c.f. my blog post), it also makes this claim sound all too fantastic.

The venerable Smithsonian Institution should be ashamed to have published such an ideological, biased pamphlet. It behooves this well regarded institution to retract it immediately before unsuspecting high school children across the country are indoctrinated with the content!

The Last Wife Of King Henry VIII

Posted: 2/7/2019

Motto: The influence of women on history has been enormously greater than we are made to believe by feminists or by many historians!

Just watched Lucy Worsley’s video documentary of Elizabeth I’s Battle for God’s Music (Source 1). Catherine Parr was quite an impressive and influential lady.

The last wife, Catherine Parr, had four husbands herself. “[S]he is the most-married English queen”, but her husbands apparently died of natural causes (Source 2). Not bad! There might be more to her four husbands: Did Catherine shrewdly select her husbands? Her first husband was sickly and did not live long. Her second husband was twice widowed and twice her age (about 48). “Although Latimer [her second husband] was in financial difficulties after he and his brothers had pursued legal action to claim the title of Earl of Warwick, Catherine now had a home of her own, a title and a husband with a position and influence in the north.” (Source 2; emphasis added). Apparently, her second husband got into a religious controversy that threatened his and his families life. Nevertheless, Henry VIII decided to marry this lady and to become her third husband.

“Catherine enjoyed a close relationship with Henry's three children and was personally involved in the education of Elizabeth I and Edward VI. … Her book Prayers or Meditations became the first book published by an English queen under her own name. She assumed the role of Elizabeth's guardian following the King's death, and published a second book, The Lamentation of a Sinner.” (Source 2; emphasis added). It is quite possible that she was, what we call now, the role model for Elizabeth I.

“On account of Catherine's Protestant sympathies, she provoked the enmity of anti-Protestant officials, who sought to turn the King against her; a warrant for her arrest was drawn up in 1545. However, she and the King soon reconciled.” (Source 2; emphasis added)

“Henry went on his last, unsuccessful, campaign to France from July to September 1544, leaving Catherine as his regent. Because her regency council was composed of sympathetic members, including her uncle, Thomas Cranmer (the Archbishop of Canterbury) and Lord Hertford, Catherine obtained effective control and was able to rule as she saw fit. She handled provision, finances and musters for Henry's French campaign, signed five royal proclamations, and maintained constant contact with her lieutenant in the northern Marches, Lord Shrewsbury, over the complex and unstable situation with Scotland. It is thought that her actions as regent, together with her strength of character and noted dignity, and later religious convictions, greatly influenced her stepdaughter Lady Elizabeth (the future Elizabeth I of England).” (Source 2; emphasis added)

By the mid-1540s, she came under suspicion that she was actually a Protestant. This view is supported by the strong reformed ideas that she revealed after Henry's death, when her second book, Lamentacion of a synner (Lamentation of a Sinner), was published in late 1547. The book promoted the Protestant concept of justification by faith alone, which the Catholic Church deemed to be heresy. ” (Source 2; emphasis added). You may call Catherine Parr a female Martin Luther.

Samsung And Delilah

Today, I woke up to the surprising news that Samsung entered the dating market with a dating app. What a clever marketing move for an electronics company. You wish Siemens or GE would come up with something like it.

Not only that, Samsung created a website called https://www.refrigerdating.com/. Sounds a bit chilly or? In the German language there is a well known adage “Liebe geht durch den Magen” (Love comes from your stomach). I would almost bet that e.g. Italians or French have similar sayings. Wonder, what expressions the Koreans might have? Or is it just a variation of you are what you eat.

Very Old Fashioned Institute For Advanced Studies

Posted: 2/6/2019

Just watched a lecture video published by the Institute for Advanced Studies located on Einstein Drive in Princeton, New Jersey. Originally, I was watching a lecture from April 3, 2017 given by Ran Raz when I discovered that the lectures at the IAS are still using chalk and blackboard. As an aside, Ran Raz was even using a dry sponge to clean the chalk of the blackboard, well you can imagine what that looked like ...
I thought, OK this video was recorded almost to years ago. Let’s see the most recent available video. At the time of writing this blog, this was: Non-commutative rank by Visu Makam University of Michigan; Member, School of Mathematics February 5, 2019.

I could not believe that the lecturers at the IAS are still using the extremely outdated technology of chalk and blackboard. I was actually deeply shocked that such brilliant minds waste time and effort on this ancient technology in the digital age. This is highly inefficient and amateurish! Almost like throwback!

EU Council president Donald Tusk, the devil incarnate, spoke and the world listened!

This is how unelected officials at the highest places think about a citizen’s referendum
The British citizens should now be much more determined to leave the EU as fast as possible!
Thanks Donald Tusk for fuming!

This is actually very disappoint that this outburst is coming from a respected person like Donald Tusk who was e.g. the “... was one of the co-founders of the free-market-oriented Liberal Democratic Congress party. ” in Poland.

Your Health And Human Endogenous Retrovirus

Posted: 2/3/2019

Just read this great article about HERV. A very well written article with several, very instructive charts and accompanied by a list of references. “Today, these human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs) exist as 450,000 fragments of biological code, representing 39 major viral groups, broken up and scattered throughout the genome.” (emphasis added)

The research into these remnants of virus code embedded over many millions of years in our and other animals or plant DNA may have uncover huge ramifications on our health.
Links are already found between HERV and cancer, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder,  and more.

This suggests as a minimum that human DNA needs to be screened more for viral or bacterial DNA and whether and how these code pieces are harmful or not. A cleanup is probably also recommended.

The African Continental Free Trade Agreement

Posted: 2/2/2019  Updated/revised: 7/17/2019, 5/19/2019, 3/9/2019, 2/23/2019

Update Of 7/17/2019

The Acton Institute just published this article about the AfCFTA: Africa strikes a free trade deal: Inside the deliberations

It reminded its readers that this great agreement finally overcomes the arbitrary and artificial borders imposed by the former colonial powers! Something, I was remiss to recognize here.

Next on the agenda appear to be rules for licensing and standardization across the 54 nations. If they do not commit the same foolish mistakes of Western countries, these African countries can move ahead with dizzying speed by e.g. by adopting reciprocity or other procedures of mutual benefit.

Update Of 5/19/2019

With the signing of Gambia in April, the AfCFTA is in effect now! This is a global game changer! Stay tuned!

Just read this recommendable article: Africa Just Created a Major Free Trade Bloc That Will Add Billions in Wealth. It also describes briefly how many of the African countries, after gaining independence from their colonial powers in the 1950s and 1960s, choose Marxism and socialism. We know what a colossal failure this turned out to be leaving hundreds of millions of Africans in abject poverty!

“So far, 22 African Union member-states have ratified the free-trade area, and more are expected to join in the coming months. … After the west African nation The Gambia ratified the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) in April, the twenty-two-nation threshold needed for the trade pact to come into effect has now been reached.” (emphasis added)

Update Of 3/9/2019

According to this article 19 countries have by now ratified the agreement, 22 countries need to ratify for it to come into effect. This is very exciting news!

Here are some quotes from the above article (emphasis added):
  1. “Rwandan President Paul Kagame proposed the AfCFTA last March. Since then, 52 of the 55 African Union (AU) members have endorsed the free-trade area.”
[What a success story in such a short time!]
  2. “Currently, only 18 percent of exports from African countries are traded within the continent. By comparison, intra-regional trade accounts for 69 percent and 59 percent of total exports in Europe and Asia, respectively. ”
[Enormous potential for more intra-area trade!]

Original Post

Probably, the biggest event I have completely and regrettably missed in 2018. Has sub saharan Africa finally found a way out of widespread poverty? Some African countries are considered economic lions with significant economic growth year after year.

“The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is a planned free trade area, outlined in the African Continental Free Trade Agreement among 49 of the 55 African Union nations. If the agreement is ratified, the free-trade area will be the largest in the world in terms of participating countries since the formation of the World Trade Organization.” (Source 2; emphasis added)

“The African Continental Free Trade Area does not come into effect until 22 of the signing countries ratify the agreement. As of January 2019, 18 countries had ratified the agreement.” (Source 2)

Keep in mind that the area of the African continent is larger than Canada, China, and the U.S. combined or six times larger than the entire EU.

If the African countries can pull off a successful free trade zone in Africa, then this would be an economic miracle. Wish them all the best!

Some Enablers

Perhaps, the U.S. African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) of 2000 also helped to spur economic development in Africa. How about Bill & Melinda Gates?

Then, there was the unprecedented President George W. Bush global health initiative started in about 2003: $15 billion over five years to fight HIV in developing countries, primarily in Africa. This still ongoing program certainly had the ambition and enormity of the famous Marshall plan for post-war Europe. “PEPFAR has been called the biggest single disease global health initiative in history” (Source 3)

China too has become heavily involved in Africa with investments and business development.

Some Consequences

  1. Population growth forecasts for Africa are seriously in need of downward revision
  2. Tremendous prosperity and poverty relief through regional economic development
  3. Less pressure for young Africans to migrate
  4. The UK after Brexit is poised to take advantage of free trade with Africa

Tyranny Of Government Paternalism

Posted: 2/2/2019

The Court of Justice of the European Union recently upheld the government prohibition of menthol cigarettes in Europe. The court’s press release is titled “The prohibition in stages at EU level of cigarettes and roll-your-own tobacco containing flavourings is valid. That prohibition does not infringe the principles of legal certainty, equal treatment and proportionality, nor that of the free movement of goods” (emphasis added)

What this ridiculous decision clearly infringes upon is the free choice of consumers!
An appalling decision!

This is just another reminder of way too many examples how our elected representatives are applying invasive government paternalism at the expense of individual freedom. E.g. banning of light bulbs; prohibition of smoking in bars and restaurants; and so on ...

Europe Dominated By Queens

Posted: 1/31/2019

Feminism is a horrible and deeply flawed ideology. Unfortunately, too many gullible men have succumbed to feminism. Feminism is the battle of the sexes and women are winning and gaining in power at the expense of men, because men have always been weak chivalrous.

For some reason, I never realized to this day how many female monarchs dominated Europe during long periods of time.

Take Catherine de Medici and Queen Elizabeth I, who reigned almost simultaneously over France and United Kingdom.

Take Catherine the Great and Maria Theresa, who also reigned almost simultaneously over Russia and the Habsburg empire.

Then there was the long reign of Queen Victoria over the British Empire

I am sure, there are more influential queens in European history. I know there were other notable Queens in earlier history e.g. Queen Boudica. Is it possible that our perception of male dominated history is overly influenced by Roman and Greek history?
