Just read this great article about HERV. A very well written article with several, very instructive charts and accompanied by a list of references. “Today, these human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs) exist as 450,000 fragments of biological code, representing 39 major viral groups, broken up and scattered throughout the genome.” (emphasis added)
The research into these remnants of virus code embedded over many millions of years in our and other animals or plant DNA may have uncover huge ramifications on our health.
Links are already found between HERV and cancer, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and more.
This suggests as a minimum that human DNA needs to be screened more for viral or bacterial DNA and whether and how these code pieces are harmful or not. A cleanup is probably also recommended.
