Lack of reciprocity! If an individual other than me can freely choose to change gender at will, then I can also freely choose which gender I assign to that individual!
Why do I not e.g. call any individual who changed their biological sex simply transgender. One consequence could be, that legislation would require to have transgender sports, restrooms etc. to address the issue.
Let's hope this human fad and folly will go away quickly!
Perhaps one day in the not so distant future humans will be monosex or have no sex at all thanks to advances in genetics etc. and procreation happens in vitro etc. or longevity will make procreation a thing of the past for humans. However, until then ...
