US CENTCOM says it destroyed over 80 one-way drones and six ballistic missiles from Iran, Yemen - The Jerusalem Post

Good news! The defenses of Israel are superior to Iran's areal attack!

What does "one-way drone" mean? Have we ever spoken of e.g. one-way bombs or grenades? Does not seem to make much sense. How many attack drones return after they exploded on target?

Unfortunately, these defense might be way too expensive compared to cheap drones.

"US forces, supported by US European Command destroyers, on Saturday and Sunday destroyed more than 80 one-way attack drones and at least six ballistic missiles aimed at Israel from Iran and Yemen, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Monday. ..."
