Just days after the Manchester Attack, the leading politician of the German liberal party (FDP), i.e. Christian Lindner posted following on Facebook. If the Christian Democrats win the next general election in September, then there is a good chance this man would become member of the next German government.
This is not the first time, this leading, German politician posted absurd, almost infantile stuff on Facebook. Unfortunately, this politician posts mostly stuff of little substance on his Facebook page.
This is the stuff German politicians are made of. Merkel is no aberration!
Christian Lindner commented his photo as following:
“Ach, hätte es vor dreißig Jahren nur solches Spielzeug gegeben... frohe Pfingsten! CL”
[Transl.: Oh, if I only had such a toy over 30 years ago … Wish you a merry Pentecost! (Pentecost holiday in Germany is more like the kickoff for summer fun)]
