Professor of mathematics of course! What is in a name?
Like this gentlemen: "Joshua Zahl, Associate Professor, [University of British Columbia], Department of Mathematics"
P.S. Zahl is German for number. But his name is no match for Rübezahl, a folkloric mountain spirit and the the subject of many legends and fairy tales. Zahl appears to be a common Norwegian surname.
