Introduction
This is an attempt to strip the ideological garbage that has amassed over the ages surrounding the cultural differences between the genders or the so called war of the sexes.
Hot subjects of the day like transgender or bisexual etc. are not covered here.
A Brief History
For a long time, the history of famous men was much more prominent and well known than that of famous women. With the recognition of equal rights for women, the history of famous women was researched, more famous women were discovered or became better known, and their biographies and achievements were taught and disseminated.
We know for some time now that at any time in history, there were famous, active women.
Discrimination Against Women
History was rarely kind to people who do not fight or defend themselves when necessary. Women are no exception.
If women were discriminated against during most of history, so were men. Men had to be warriors not women and women expected their men to be warriors.
Intelligent, ambitious, and talented women were very often accepted and appreciated by men and other women and they had often opportunities to develop their potential in life.
Lessons Of History
Behind many men were women who truly supported them. Similarly, behind many famous women were men who truly supported them. Without their supporters, many famous men or women would probably be less famous.
Together is better for civilization and humanity!
