Just read “Girl Sues Draft for Only Registering Males The suit challenges the constitutionality of the sex-based discrimination”. The Meaning of Equal Rights
Rights usually come with duties to. If women are to enjoy equal rights, they also need to share the burden to defend these rights when necessary.
For decades it has puzzled me that prominent feminists or women’s rights activists have been quite mum about military service for women like cherry pickers.
Yes, male-only draft registration in the U.S. is undoubtedly unconstitutional. The German constitution also used to contain (and I believe it still does) a clause excluding women from any war related military service.
