The rough number of homeless people counted in the U.S.: 550,000

That is a lot! However, this seems to be the very high end number. Maybe under 470,000 (sheltered and unsheltered) is more accurate.

Thanks to the great generosity and philanthropy most of these homeless people probably do not suffer hunger and have medical services available.

The report is strangely vague on the number of women among the homelessness. The report provides only percentages, but not absolute figures.

Of course, a lengthy part of the report is now dedicated to LGBTQ and gender ideology!

"... based on numbers from more than 250 homeless-service organizations covering cities, metro areas and vast rural areas that are meant to reflect homelessness as it existed on a single night early this year. ..."

The Wall Street Journal What's news

State of Homelessness: 2024 Edition (I surmise, the WSJ used this report as a source)
