Just read Scientists teach bacterium a new trick for artificial photosynthesis.

From this and other similar advances in recent times it appears to be imminent that humans are capable of replicating photosynthesis within perhaps 5-10 years.

That said, the Global Warming alarmists should relax! Expensive and outrageous schemes like carbon capture or taxes on CO2 or carbon emission trading are not necessary at all. Nothing beats human ingenuity! Socialists and central planners are the problem!
