I also think, there is a good chance that African countries might adopt digital currencies faster and more comprehensive than e.g. Western countries.
The population of many African countries is much younger and they might see this as a chance to show independence and to leap ahead with a state of the art common currency.
We will see what happens! Certainly exciting!
