Making Cancer History
This is one of the slogans of the famous MD Anderson Cancer Center. Well usually, I do not believe in advertisement and marketing hype. However, this is different and substantiated by exponential scientific and medical progress.

My prediction is that within 25 years, we will all but have eradicated cancer in most of its forms.
Anyone who follows scientific and medical news over the past several years will most likely agree. Progress so far has been more than phenomenal.
We now have a vaccine against a few cancers. Whole genome sequencing of cancer cells has almost become routine and the list goes on.
Caveats
Big Government in the form of outdated Soviet-style Food And Drug Administration (FDA) that still relies on comprehensive clinical studies and other prehistoric administrative procedures to retard medical progress needs to be abolished and fundamentally reformed.
The medical profession, hospitals, insurance companies and other entities of the medical industry try to protect their privileges, medieval guild like structures, and they will continue their rent seeking.
