Remember carbon dioxide is an essential and trace component of planet earth's atmosphere! Like oxygen, without carbon dioxide life, as we know it, is impossible! Vilifying carbon dioxide is ludicrous and absurd!
Iceland is a very special island in more respects than is known to many! E.g. Iceland has a one of the most comprehensive genome database of most of its population (here, here) etc.
