How democracies are now ‘backsliding’ in countries from Russia to the United States

The Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is clearly and seriously afflicted by the Trump Derangement Syndrome if they insinuate a similarity between Putin the Terrible and President Trump! What the AAAS presents here is not science but cheap political statements! This is not advancement of science but propaganda and ideology!

Other than this headline they don't have anything to support their assertion in the headline!
