Very convenient Me Too moments in the U.S. Congress (Hearing before Senate Armed Services subcommittee). U.S. Senator Martha McSally (R-AZ) came forward during her testimony to claim she was raped during her service in the Air Force by a superior officer.
McSally was active in the Air Force from 1988 - 2010. Did she never find an opportunity during those 22 years to address her rape attack? However, she sued then Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld over female soldiers in Saudi Arabia had to wear body covering abayas. (McSally v. Rumsfeld; Source 2)
She never reported this crime! She did not provide any details! As a soldier she was expected to defend herself against the attack on her person! She completely failed on both counts! Thus, she allowed other women to be sexually attacked going forward!
One can also speculate that it was no rape but perhaps consensual sex for favors! Perhaps, another Mistress Kamala Harris case (see my blog post here)? By not providing any details about her rape or her alleged assailant, we will most likely never know the truth!
On her Wikipedia page, we read:
“During an interview with The Wall Street Journal in April 2018, McSally alleged her track and field coach pressured her into a sexual relationship during her senior year at the Catholic girls' school. She told the Journal that the coach used "emotional manipulation" to keep her compliant. She did not reveal the incident to friends or family until ten years after her graduation”
McSally thus claims she was a victim multiple times!
