The Afghanistan debacle probably did not enchant the old ally of the United States: France. The cancellation of the submarine contract with France was perhaps the straw that broke the camel's back. The 46th President is a gigantic fool!
The new military partnership that was just forged between the U.S., the UK, and Australia probably did not require for Australia to cancel the conventional submarine contracts with France.
