Just read this article 3-D printed polymer turns methane to methanol.“Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory scientists have combined biology and 3-D printing to create the first reactor that can continuously produce methanol from methane at room temperature and pressure.
The team removed enzymes from methanotrophs, bacteria that eat methane, and mixed them with polymers that they printed or molded into innovative reactors. The research, which could lead to more efficient conversion of methane to energy production … "Remarkably, the enzymes retain up to 100 percent activity in the polymer ...”

The Case For Air Treatment
In the age of Global Warming (synonymous with Climate Change) hysteria it would be advisable to take air treatment under serious consideration! Like the use of more nuclear power generated from newly designed power plants based on novel technologies, air treatment is one other alternative conveniently overlooked by the alarmists and their fellow politicians.
To pursue air treatment technologies is something the rich Western countries can start doing without having to force any other countries to follow.
Instead of demanding and enforcing ever more stricter air pollution standards on automobiles, industrial facilities, residential homes etc. it would be a superior solution to implement general air treatment technologies independent of the source or quality of pollution.
Water Treatment Analogy
For over 4,000 years humans have tried and evolved technologies to purify water with great success. Why can humans not start developing systems to clean and purify air.
