The expected cost of drugs for Utah’s death penalty execution jumped from $7K to $200K

Why don't they use e.g. the Swiss suicide pod with nitrogen! It is cheap and very effective!!! See also my related blog post here.

For some reason, they make things much more difficult and complex than need be and it becomes very expensive for taxpayers!
