These days the best ever simulation of the universe’s history has made the headlines e.g. here. Here is the Nature abstract.

Striking Resemblance

I have now watched this simulation of the history of our universe at least twice from different sources. What struck me the most is the resemblance of the connectedness of everything in our universe and the neurons in our brain.

Is this just an artifact, because the people involved in this project imposed it intentionally or unconsciously?
