I am not an expert on the current situation in Syria, but it seems to be complex, ambiguous not very transparent.
However, my fear is any mistake in the ongoing, volatile military conflicts in Syria could potentially trigger a full blown, open World War III.
The Russo-Ukrainian War is already a World War III by any other name. We are living in times of heightened tensions between nuclear superpowers plus NATO.
The so called Syrian Civil War has been going on since 2011. The main external state belligerents active in this war in no particular order are Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Russia, U.S., Israel. The total number of killed in this war is reported to be over 500,000.
This war in Syria has the potential to escalate!
Besides Syria we have more hotspots like the Baltic Sea and Poland!
Hope and pray an all out open World War III does not happen!
