A very long-term and unhealthy trend in Western countries: More people want to or are found have some disease

A very unhealthy long-term trend: The medical profession and its enablers never get tired to find more patients, new diseases etc.. More $$$, more medical professionals, more research funding, more and better equipment ...

Corresponding to this trend: More people (non medical professionals) see advantages in being diagnosed with some disease be it government or insurance monetary or other benefits (e.g. disabled parking spots) or to seek attention, care, they feel special etc. E.g. basically every job application in the U.S. now requires to answer questions about the health of the job seeker. Having a disease has almost become desirable.

Are there still healthy people left? Or are they not now transgender, non-binary etc.

Caution: Satire

Here is a recent example:
"A majority of family members of Covid-19 patients treated in ICUs reported significant symptoms of PTSD in the following months."
