This appears to be the source for media reports on the number of mass shootings in the U.S. As of today, supposedly 146 mass shootings happened in 2023 so far.
It appears to be a very dubious source!
There is no such thing as gun violence! This is a term of propaganda and demagoguery! Guns are instruments for good or evil purposes! Humans commit violent acts using guns! For harm to humans to occur it requires a finger on the trigger and a mind to pull the trigger!
The website calls it euphemistically "evidence based research - since 2013"!
When you click on the any of the events, they don't provide e.g. circumstances or motive. They do not distinguish e.g. between shootings among criminals and shootings where shooter and victims are non criminals.
