Update of 4/24/2021: It took the CDC bureaucracy a total of 11 days to reconsider/correct their bad decision to entirely pause the J & J vaccine (see e.g. here)
Why would these two federal agencies recommend to pause all Johnson & Johnson vaccinations? Only six women between the ages of 18 and 48 out of almost 7 million administered vaccine doses in the U.S. alone!
This is clearly yet another of already many irrational overreactions! Is this one due to politically correctness? Why not pause the vaccinations for only women between the ages of 18 and 48? Would that be considered gender discrimination in these gender challenged and gender equity times? How irresponsible is this pause!
"As of April 12, more than 6.8 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine have been administered in the U.S. CDC and FDA are reviewing data involving six reported U.S. cases of a rare and severe type of blood clot in individuals after receiving the J&J vaccine. ... All six cases occurred among women between the ages of 18 and 48, and symptoms occurred 6 to 13 days after vaccination. ..."
