There are probably more female generals past and present on this continent than in any other region of the world.
Even Muslim countries like Morocco and Algeria have significant female forces. Algeria also has a female general. Then, there was, of course, the famous female only guard of former Libyan strongman Gaddafi.
However, the video does not mention whether any of these female soldiers faced combat action (with the possible exception of mentioning it briefly for female soldiers from Ethiopia).
