"The number of U.S. troops wounded in the Iran war passed 750 [last] week, as the Department of Defense updated its casualty report. Nearly half of those were service members wounded since fighting restarted last month. ...

The overwhelming majority of those wounded [since July] are from the Army, with 310 soldiers listed as wounded in action. The Navy accounts for 21 and the Air Force the remaining 10. 

The Pentagon’s data does not specify what type of injury troops incurred or when and where they happened. The database’s figures also do not mean those injuries happened the day of the update. ..."

Pentagon just reported 140 new Iran war casualties totalling now more than 600 and at least 540

"The Pentagon updated its official war casualty database over the weekend, adding more than 140 wounded service members. The Defense Casualty Analysis System (DCAS) also introduced a new casualty category labeled “Overseas Operations” for personnel killed and wounded “starting July 7”.

According to the updated database, the official toll for the earlier phase of the US-Iran war, known as Operation Epic Fury, now stands at 14 service members killed and more than 400 wounded in action.

These figures have been a point of contention after the Pentagon previously reduced the totals from 18 deaths and 482 wounded that had been recorded just days earlier. ..."

Compromised care: 80+ maternity centers across Ukraine have been damaged or destroyed since Russia’s 2022 invasion, putting pregnant women and newborns at severe risk and forcing hundreds of births to occur in underground shelters, warns the UN Population Fund.  

Last week, a maternity hospital in Kherson was attacked, further compromising severely strained medical services, per the WHO. 

Power outages and supply shortages further contribute to rising risks.  

Demographic disaster: Ukraine now has the highest death rates and lowest birth rates in the world, measuring three deaths for every birth, reports Reuters.  

That has led to fears of population collapse, with the country’s population plummeting from 42 million in 2022 to a projected 25 million by 2051."

Israeli attack killed five journalists in Gaza. Really!

Bad news! It is probably too early for the facts regarding this case to come out.

Are some of the journalists in Gaza Strip actually Hama terrorists? Possibly! To pose as a journalist is a nice cover. 

Did Al Jazeera vet this journalist carefully? Since when was he a journalist of Al Jazeera? Etc.

There also claims that the IDF killed up to 200 journalists in the Gaza Strip. Sounds incredible! Further investigations into this claim are recommended.

Caveat: I am not familiar with the details of this case.
