Bank of America female VP (age 32) Was Killed by a woman in Times Square on First Day Back from Maternity Leave

Bad news!

Is this a harbinger of the policies of NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani or just a freak, random killing?

"... Tak Kam, 68, was also stabbed but is expected to recover, and police later used lethal force on Cisneros when she charged at them with two knives in her hands ..."

Lindsay Clancy Trial: Jurors ask to examine knife, pill bottles she used to slit her throat and wrists

What? So the killer of her three children did not only jump out a window after the killing? So she also cut her throat and wrists as well? How did she survive, but not her children?

Why did she have three children with postpartum psychosis? When did the alleged postpartum psychosis begin, only after the third child? Postpartum psychosis appears to be very rare, only 1-2 women in 1000 after delivery are affected by it.

It strikes me again that if a woman commits a horrific crime then she must be crazy fallacy applies here again. Women are angels and men are brutes. In the age of gender equality such bias should be dismissed.

What did the husband know and do about it? I am not aware of news reporting on about the husband in this case. Strange!

This case is weird in several respects!

Caveat I am not familiar with the details of the case.

Hundreds of women rally outside courthouse to show support for woman accused of murdering her 3 children. Really!

Did the killer have postpartum psychosis only after her third child? Why did she have three children?

What did the husband know or do about it?

Caveat: I am not familiar with the case.

"Hundreds of Lindsay Clancy supporters, many wearing pink clothing emblazoned with phrases such as "Believe," "She Needed Help" and "Peace For Lindsay," gathered Thursday outside the courthouse where she is on trial in the killings of her three children. ..."

My abusive mother was not a victim — and neither is the three children murderer Lindsay Clancy (a former labor and delivery nurse)

Update: A female Chaplain says Lindsay Clancy reported hearing 'voice' after killings. The killer heard voices after the killing? I did not know until now that the killer jumped out of the window after the crime and became paralyzed and wheel-chair bound.

Food for thought!

Was the children murderer Lindsay Clancy abusive to her children before she killed them? For how long and how abusive? What did her husband know about it and/or what did he do about it?

"Postpartum psychosis is a [very] rare, severe psychiatric emergency affecting about 1 to 2 in 1,000 women after childbirth." (Google Search) And how many women suffering from it become abusive or murderers of their own children?

P.S. My late mother was not abusive, on the contrary!

"... Then I witnessed the extraordinary outpouring of female sympathy for Lindsay Clancy, the Massachusetts mother who killed her three children in 2023.

Some Clancy girls now claim Lindsay’s poor husband, Patrick, actually killed the kids and framed her. How do they know this? Astrology of course.

Clancy, a former labor and delivery nurse, is now on trial for murder. Her children were Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, eight months old.

There is no dispute about who killed them. Clancy's defense admits she strangled all three children with exercise bands in the basement of the family's home while her husband, Patrick, was out picking up medicine and takeout. The question for the jury is whether she was criminally responsible when she did it.

Her lawyers say she wasn't. They argue that Clancy suffered from postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder and that psychiatric medications worsened her condition. Prosecutors say she deliberately arranged to get her husband out of the house and knew exactly what she was doing. ..."

What’s Behind Baltimore’s Dramatic Homicide Decline? Treating gun violence as a public health issue. Really!

Lefties like to present this narrative! What about tougher law enforcement and sentencing?

Is gun violence "contagious" or like a "sexually transmitted infection"? I beg to differ!

How much of this reduction was actually due to shutting down a "ghost gun manufacturer and distributor"?

"Baltimore recorded 133 homicides in 2025—a nearly 60% decline since 2021 and its lowest homicide rate per capita in 50 years. While homicides have fallen nationwide, Baltimore’s decline began earlier and is steeper than in other U.S. cities.

A major factor is the city’s shift toward treating gun violence as a public health problem, pairing targeted law enforcement with community-based prevention and intensive support for people at highest risk.

Mayor Brandon Scott’s Group Violence Reduction Strategy identifies people at elevated risk due to recent victimization, proximity to shootings, and social networks. Community organizations then connect them with resources such as housing, employment, transportation, and treatment that can help reduce the conditions driving violence.

Programs including Roca, Safe Streets, and YAP (Youth Advocate Programs) also rely on trusted community members to mediate conflicts. ..."

"... Baltimore also won the largest verdict in history—$62 million—against a top ghost-gun manufacturer and distributor, leading the manufacturer to go out of business. ...

“Gun violence often acts analogous to a contagious process. We think of it as a social contagion,” says Daniel Webster, ScD ’91, MPH, a distinguished scholar at the Bloomberg School’s Center for Gun Violence Solutions. Just as measles or sexually transmitted infections spread through social networks, so does gun violence. And shootings don’t just affect shooters and victims—they ricochet through communities. Arrest and incarceration, too, can metastasize [???]. Funneling [???] people into the criminal justice system cuts off their options. Many of the people at risk of gun violence also live in neighborhoods that have long been neglected. “We think of gun violence as both a cause and consequence of health,” said Carla Tilchin, PhD ’24, MSPH ’17, assistant scientist at the Center. ..."

Lebanon Breaks With the Region on the Death Penalty

Good news!

"... On August 11, the Lebanese parliament voted to abolish the death penalty, replacing it with a life sentence and “aggravated hard labor.” Once the law is signed by the president and published in The Official Gazette, it goes into effect; however, acquiring such a signature is just a formality in the Lebanese parliamentary system.

This is a historic decision for the Arab world and the Middle East. ...
Djibouti, a member of the Arab League, abolished the death penalty in 1995.
Turkey did the same in 2004.

This makes Lebanon the second Middle Eastern country and the second Arab League member to take the step. ..."

Anthony Fauci pleads the 5th over 100 times during congressional hearing

Will finally the mask of this high level perpetrator/criminal/crook come off! What will we finally learn about the Faustian bargain (Source)

Unfortunately, Fauci is 85 years old! Most likely he will easily be able to avoid prison!

Since Covid-19 broke out I have frequently blogged about Anthony Fauci, a very suspect, deceptive and dubious person latest since the Covid-19 global pandemic! What has he been hiding?

What did Fauci know e.g. about the lab leak hypothesis? Was he covering up for the Communist Party of China? The timing of the release of the actually rather harmless virus was suspicious itself coinciding with the US presidential elections of 2020.

"Fauci used his own opening statement to defend his decades in government, noting that he had testified before or briefed Congress "well over 200 times" during his almost 40 years running the National Institute of Allergy and Infections Diseases and framing that record as proof he "believe[s] in and respect[s] the value of legitimate congressional oversight."

'The COVID lockdown … could never have been inflicted without you aiding and abetting the crime.'

He wasted no time going after Paul, accusing him of an "unhinged obsession" with trying to see him "behind bars." Fauci framed the whole hearing as bad faith, saying it was designed to get him to "say something — anything — that could vindicate" Paul's public pledges.

He also went after the publication of his email diary directly, calling it a move "aimed at embarrassing and intimidating me."

In his opening statement, Paul reminded the room that Fauci only showed up "under duress" and later baited him on the record: "Let the record record that the witness has refused to answer whether there's a folder in front of him."

"The COVID lockdown … could never have been inflicted without you aiding and abetting the crime," Paul said.

Invoking his Fifth Amendment right, Fauci said, after Paul [US Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.)] began direct questioning, "under the advice of my attorneys, I will invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution to refrain from answering your questions.""

Two British fugitive Social media influencers arrested in Miami

What a sordid story! Not all social media is wholesome!

Caveat: I am not familiar with the details of this case.

"U.K. social media influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested by federal authorities Saturday in Miami, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

The charges against the duel U.S. and British citizens have yet to be announced. A Marshals Service spokesperson told the Associated Press the warrant is sealed.

The brothers, who moved to Romania in 2016, were arrested on an extradition request from the U.K., a person familiar with the matter, told the wire service, on the condition of anonymity.

The brothers, who have millions of followers on social media, have been wanted in the United Kingdom, where they face rape and human trafficking charges, the wire service also reports. ..."

Trump DOJ files to strip Jamaican fraudster, Indian H-1B scammer, Haitian pervert, and 14 others of US citizenship

Bravo President Trump!

For decades, Americans have been known worldwide to be very generous, lax and lenient when it comes to enforcing the law (especially immigration laws)! Too many criminals have benefitted from or taken advantage of it!

Then there is the strong American belief in the benefit of doubt!

"Federal officials filed a total of 305 denaturalization cases between 1990 and 2017 — an average of 11 per year. Like the first, the second Trump administration appears keen to make those previous numbers look like child's play.

The Trump Justice Department announced on Monday that it filed denaturalization actions in a handful of federal courts against 17 individuals accused of various crimes including child sex abuse and fraud. ..."

South American burglary Ring Spied on affluent Homes in California with Cameras Hidden in Bushes

A new version of spy v. spy (homeowner v. burglar)! Pretty sophisticated!

"... The burglaries have happened in affluent areas, where the suspects targeted neighbors by checking their social media pages to see if they were out of town.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said the thieves used Wi-Fi jammers and placed hidden cameras near homes to track when residents were not at home. During a press conference with officials, Luna showed reporters a wooden box covered in fake grass he said was supposed to hold a phone and camera with extra batteries. ..."

Cyberattack on vehicle breathalyzer company leaves drivers stranded across the US

The company, Intoxalock, says on its website that it is “currently experiencing downtime” after a cyberattack on March 14. US homicides are way down in 2025

Good news! Thanks to President Trump?

"The homicide rate fell last year to at least a 125-year low, based on projected final-year data. Theories to explain the historic drop range from an influx of federal funding to stepped-up police enforcement, along with longer-term societal shifts, like reduced alcohol consumption and increased time spent alone."
