Good news! This outcome was expected for several months.

It is absolutely disgusting that almost all news media outlets call the AfD a far-right party (as if the Nazis were resurrected). 

The AfD is right of center, but not extreme. However, how do you define center for German politics? Has the center not clearly moved to the left since reunification in 1990? The Wall fell and socialism spread everywhere in Germany.

Perhaps one of the biggest issues with the AfD is their relation to Putin the Terrible! Does the AfD properly distinguish between Russia and the megalomaniac, warmonger and war criminal Putin the Terrible!

Let's find out which party is willing to form a coalition government? Maybe the CDU would be the best choice. However, Chancellor Merz is a fool!

Had I been a citizen of Sachsen-Anhalt, I would have voted for the AfD too. Let's give them a chance to prove that they can make a positive difference in the banana republic of Germany! If the AfD fails, then don't vote for them anymore!

Very bad German habits exposed at the cemetery administration of the city of Frankfurt am Main

The official PDF file (13 pages, Friedhofsordnung) regarding the regulations applying to the cemetery and its burial sites where my mother was recently buried is horrible!

The PDF file is totally protected. Basically no permissions to do anything with this PDF file, but reading it. E.g. you can not even highlight or copy any content!

It is not possible to export the content of the PDF file as a text file!

This is terrible overkill! So typical German!

How stupid is German public transportation?

Since yesterday was trying to access the official website of the public transportation company of the Rhein Main Verkehrsverbund GmbH at rmv.de.

Rhein Main is a major urban, conference, trade fair, business and tourist center in Germany! The airport of Frankfurt am Main is the busiest in Germany and so on.

Google says foreign visitors are blocked from accessing this website: "The RMV website and app are currently experiencing issues, likely due to geo-blocking of non-German IP addresses, making them inaccessible for many users outside Germany or using foreign connections."

It does not get more stupid!

P.S. I did not even use any firewall etc.!

One simple reason why Germany is a banana republic!

In the year 2026, the probate court of Munich (Amtsgericht/Nachlassgericht) still uses a fax machine (Telefax: 09621 / 96241-3115) and allows filled out forms to be faxed into the court!

I know that for a fact, because my mother, a long time resident of Munich, recently died and I am now dealing with this court.

Who in their right mind still uses faxing or a fax machine (hardware or software) in the year 2026!

May the rest of the world have a good laugh at the old fashioned, stubborn tree hugging Germans!

$35 million stolen in a weekend long Bank Heist in in Gelsenkirchen, Germany

The banana republic of Germany is in the news again! Gelsenkirchen is a city of about 260,000 population. The savings bank is located in the downtown area.

The masked thieves were able to spend a whole weekend to break into the 3,000 safe-deposit boxes and carrying their loot to their getaway car parked in the garage? Nobody noticed?

It was reported that the thieves used tools not available in a regular hardware store to drill into the vault of the bank.
