The Hezbollah “Fortress” in southern Lebanon That Fell Without a Fight

Recommendable! Captures many aspects of this successful IDF operation.

The Hezbollah “Fortress” That Fell Without a Fight "Western coverage portrayed Ali al-Taher as a major Hezbollah stronghold and its capture as a stunning Israeli victory. Here’s what the evidence shows and what the reporting left unanswered."

Higher Oil prices? China mysteriously reduced warplane activity near Taiwan over the past three weeks

Good news! 😊 Maybe a welcome relief for Taiwan!

" Could it be high fuel prices, or a desire to avoid upsetting U.S. President Donald Trump? What about China’s annual political confab in early March? Analysts have offered different explanations for a recent trend: a net reduction in daily Chinese fighter plane activity near Taiwan over the past three weeks. ..."

US & Israel continue to strike Law Enforcement Command centers in Iran

Good news! Yesterday, it was reported that paramilitary units (associated with suppressing unrest) in Iran were attacked.

What are the Iranian people waiting for? I have not seen any recent reports that the Iranian people are staging any insurrection/revolution to topple the theocracy/dictatorship (Caveat: Behind the Great Firewall of China my access to current news is limited).

"The combined force also continued to strike Law Enforcement Command (LEC) institutions in central and western Iran. The IDF confirmed on March 9 that it struck the Esfahan City LEC Headquarters. The combined force previously struck the Esfahan Province LEC Headquarters." (Iran Update Morning Special Report, March 9, 2026)

At least one US air force woman served as a B-2 bomber pilot during the mission on Iran's Nuclear Facilities

Good news in the age of gender equality!

The Islamist fanatics in Iran were whipped by unveiled women soldiers wearing helmets instead of hijabs! 😊 Poetic justice for Mahsa Amini!

I recently blogged here about Israeli female air force pilots participating in the Rising Lion mission against Iran.

"... But female troops also played key roles in the Iran strikes. "Women were incorporated in all aspects of the mission," a U.S. official told Military.com on Monday on condition of anonymity to discuss details of the operation.

At least one woman served as a B-2 bomber pilot during the mission, that official said. Another official confirmed women were on a guided missile submarine crew that launched more than two dozen cruise missiles at the Iranian nuclear sites. ..."

Trump Announces US Strikes on three major Iran Nuclear sites including the deep underground buried Fordow facility

Let's hope and pray that the US military operations in Iran will be very limited, narrowly focused, and of short duration!

How will Iran respond? Using terrorist attacks on the US? Another September 11, 2001? Will they sabotage the Middle East oil trade and Suez Canal etc.

"President Donald Trump announced Saturday evening that the U.S. had dropped bombs on three major nuclear sites in Iran.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” the president posted on Truth Social. “All planes are now outside of Iran air space.”

“A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow,” he added. “All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this.” ..."
