What does the Green New Deal and eugenics have in common?

A lot! The former is one of the greatest scams of our time and the latter is one of the worst ideologies in human history!

The Green New Deal (here sustainable agriculture without e.g. chemical pesticides) causes worldwide food shortages and mass starvation.

Who are primarily the victims? People in lower income countries, who tend to have higher birth rates than in higher income countries.

This form of eugenics can be traced back to e.g. the infamous book by Stanford University professor Paul Ehrlich and his wife titled The Population Bomb published in 1968 by none other than the Sierra Club.

Radical Green New Deal policy adversely impacts farmers in several countries

Recommendable! The Green New Deal is a terrible scam leading to food shortages and mass starvation!

Sri Lanka crisis exposes the Green New Deal as a scam

Since when does Bjorn Lomberg publish op-eds in the mouthpiece of the Communist Party of China, the China Daily!

Does this also explain his chosen terminology like "Russia-Ukraine conflict". This term is little bit better than the Russian propaganda term "special operation";

Why does Bjorn Lomberg not mention the other calamity of Sri Lanka? The country is caught in the debt trap policy of China!

Unfortunately, Sri Lanka and some other low income countries bought into the New Green Deal scam with devastating results.

"... The catastrophe unfolding in Sri Lanka provides a sobering lesson. The government last year enforced a full transition to organic farming, appointing "organic farming gurus", including some who claimed dubious links between agricultural chemicals and health problems, as agricultural advisers. Despite extravagant claims that organic methods could produce comparable yields to conventional farming, the policy produced nothing but misery, with some food prices quintupling.

Sri Lanka had been self-sufficient in rice production for decades, but tragically has now been forced to import $450 million worth of rice. Tea, the nation's primary export crop and source of foreign exchange, was devastated, with economic losses estimated at $425 million. Before the country spiraled downward toward brutal violence and political resignations, the government was forced to offer $200 million in compensation to farmers and $149 million in subsidies. ..."

Media Never Holds Climate Alarmists Accountable for Dire Predictions

Recommendable! Just a quick reminder that history is littered with many false, apocalyptic prophecies!

"... Take biologist Paul R. Ehrlich, who wrote the epic 1968 manifesto of error “The Population Bomb,” in which he predicted that “In the 1970s the world will undergo famines—hundreds of millions are going to start to death” from overpopulation. Wrong. ...
On May 4, 1989, Ehrlich warned of “rapid” climate change, that “we could expect to lose all of Florida, Washington D.C., and much of the Los Angeles Basin. … We’ll be in rising waters with no ark in sight.”

They repeated this disaster-movie routine on Jan. 11, 1990. Ehrlich claimed that when the ice sheet melts in Antarctica, the sea level would rise “not … 1 to 3 feet in a century but … 10 or 20 feet in a much shorter time.” He added: The Supreme Court would be flooded. You could tie your boat to the Washington Monument. And storm surges would make the Capitol unusable.”
Did any of this turn out to be true over the last 30 years? ...

Does anyone remember the “enormous calamities” experienced by the human race since then?

This point is hammered again in a new book by Marc Morano titled “Green Fraud: Why the Green New Deal Is Even Worse Than You Think.” ...
These days, the hype machine celebrates radicals such as Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg [Blogged e.g. here about her. Thunberg is a case of child abuse and exploitation to style her like Joan of Arc], who said: “We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of economic growth. How dare you!” ..."
