Hope and pray she will! To be fair, gender testing should be applied to both sexes!

Transgender individuals can have their own category at Olympic Games. How about that? Seems to be a reasonable compromise!

On the 2024 Paris Paralympics

It has surprised me how frequently and almost like front page news the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported about the Paralympics 2024.

Compared e.g. to my hometown newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, this is a lot! The FAZ probably reported about it, but not as prominently and frequently.

It is regrettable that the Paralympics usually receive much less attention and are much less reported than the Olympic Games.

This video is biased and not recommendable! 

However, through this lawsuit we may finally learn about the biology of this boxer! If this boxer has nothing to hide, why did the boxer not come forward?

This boxer (nor an interview with the boxer's father) has not helped at all to alleviate the controversy surrounding the sex of the boxer. Is she e.g. some kind of a genetic tomboy or was her gender falsified in official documents like the boxer's passport (her father claimed the boxer's passport states female as if this was evidence)? Was the boxer raised as a girl by his father? For what reason?

"Achieving human-level speed and performance on real world tasks is a north star for the robotics research community. This work takes a step towards that goal and presents the first learned robot agent that reaches amateur human-level performance in competitive table tennis. Table tennis is a physically demanding sport which requires human players to undergo years of training to achieve an advanced level of proficiency. In this paper, we contribute
(1) a hierarchical and modular policy architecture consisting of
(i) low level controllers with their detailed skill descriptors which model the agent's capabilities and help to bridge the sim-to-real gap and
(ii) a high level controller that chooses the low level skills,
(2) techniques for enabling zero-shot sim-to-real including an iterative approach to defining the task distribution that is grounded in the real-world and defines an automatic curriculum, and
(3) real time adaptation to unseen opponents. Policy performance was assessed through 29 robot vs. human matches of which the robot won 45% (13/29).
All humans were unseen players and their skill level varied from beginner to tournament level. Whilst the robot lost all matches vs. the most advanced players it won 100% matches vs. beginners and 55% matches vs. intermediate players, demonstrating solidly amateur human-level performance. Will the Summer Olympic Games die?

Good question! I have largely boycotted watching the Summer Olympic Games 2024

The Summer Olympic Games certainly suffer from:

1. Russia was banned from the Summer Olympic Games 2024
2. How attractive is the business proposition or image gain from hosting these games? And what are the total costs to a host country?
3. New dubious sports are being introduced (e.g. break dance, a dance style popular in the 1980s and mainly in the US). The games are more becoming like a cabaret or variety show!
4. For a long time only or mostly amateur athletes were allowed until 1988, when all professional athletes (benefiting highly paid athletes like tennis or basketball stars) became eligible to compete. I don't think this was a great idea and greatly hurt the idea of the Olympic Games.
5. The Summer Olympic Games 2024 made male transgender or genetic tomboy boxers to become a public controversy. Neither the IOC nor the ITA bothered to release any relevant comments or statements. It appears that the Algerian boxer did not bother to release a public statement about her. Both controversial boxers also competed as women in the Summer Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo.
6. Children athletes are also allowed to compete like this time a 12 year old girl and a 16 year old boy.
7. The dirty Seine river in Paris was almost compulsively or pathologically turned into a venue and staging area for the opening ceremony???
8. The Olympic Village in Paris had to be net zero and green????

Transgender athletes and the Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024 regarding the IOC and ITA

I did a quick check on the websites of the International Olympic Committee and the International Testing Agency.

Maybe I am wrong, but it appears neither one of them saw it necessary to provide a clearly posted statement or news release about the controversy that e.g. biological male boxers are competing with female boxers.

Where are the journalists investigating this matter and reporting about it! So far (8/6/2024), my impression is that far too little is investigated and published about the circumstances regarding these controversial boxers. Is this a taboo subject or does LGBTQ ideology trump?

Very disappointing! As far as I am concerned, I will boycott the games as much as possible!
