This alarmism and hysteria has been spread by media now for several days! Some argue e.g. he is not a government employee, which is wrong (see Executive Order)
Was Elon Musk officially sworn in as a member of the Administration? I googled and binged it and did not get a clear answer.
Elon Musk is not the first businessman to become a member of the administration of the federal government, see e.g. Andrew Mellon was the 49th Secretary of the Treasury.
