AAAS: Arctic meltdown by 2100. Really!

Again the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) spreads propaganda and demagoguery! It is so pathetic!

Almost pure alarmism and hysteria to obtain more government funding! Follow the money trail!

Or should we call it extreme scientific bias like superstition and occultism?

Junk climate models and junks science is a really bad combination! We still not forecast local weather accurately for more than 48 hours, but these pseudo scientists claim so often they can model climate forecasts up to 100 years. So laughable! We still know too little about this complex natural phenomenon climate!

These endlessly repeated comparison with preindustrial is so phony and bogus that it stinks! What about the Medieval and the Roman Warm Periods?

What is wrong if Greenland becomes green again as when the Vikings discovered it around 900 CE! Not much!

What is wrong when Siberia becomes a floursing landscape capable of agriculture! Not much!

What is wrong with a largely ice free Arctic! Not much! Good for maritime trade and travel!

"Already, our actions have warmed the planet about 1.5°C above preindustrial temperatures. By 2100, global warming is expected to reach 2.7°C. What will that look like in the Arctic? In a new Science review, researchers forecast that future—and it isn’t pretty.

On land, permafrost will thaw, releasing climate-warming gases and wreaking havoc on Arctic ecosystems. Greenland’s glaciers will melt, releasing enough water to raise sea levels globally by 20 centimeters. Especially disastrous will be the complete loss of summertime sea ice. In addition to exacerbating warming, the disappearance of this habitat would devastate already struggling species like polar bears.

But perhaps the worst part is that this future is likely a conservative estimate [???], as “warming of +2.7°C should not be considered as a worst-case scenario,” the team writes. “The future of the Arctic truly lies in our hands.”"

Bad choice:
"... In the review paper, the authors used the Sixth Assessment Report of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as a starting point. ..."

From the abstract:
"Under current nationally determined contributions (NDCs) to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, global warming is projected to reach 2.7°C above preindustrial levels.
In this review, we show that at such a level of warming, the Arctic would be transformed beyond contemporary recognition: Virtually every day of the year would have air temperatures higher than preindustrial extremes [???], the Arctic Ocean would be essentially ice free for several months in summer, the area of Greenland that reaches melting temperatures for at least a month would roughly quadruple, and the area of permafrost would be roughly half of what it was in preindustrial times. These geophysical changes go along with widespread ecosystem disruptions and infrastructure damage, which, as we show here, could be substantially reduced by increased efforts to limit global warming."
